Jason Bronkhorst

Jason Bronkhorst is a Johannesburg-based artist working across drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media.

His practice is process-led and material-driven, often beginning with simple gestures that are repeated, interrupted and reworked over time. Line, rhythm, and restraint are recurring concerns.

Alongside his studio practice, Bronkhorst works as a creative director, which informs an interest in systems, structure and visual clarity. The two practices run in parallel, occasionally intersecting.

Recent work includes large-scale drawings, sculptural forms and experiments combining physical making with digital tools.
